Samsó Crianza, D.O. Terra Alta, Casa Mariol, 2021

This Samsó red wine is made from 100% Cariñena grapes, a classic native variety of the Terra Alta region in Spain. It is meticulously crafted using traditional methods and then aged in oak barrels, allowing time to imbue it with a deeper and more elegant character.

This is a red wine with an exceptionally refined taste. Visually, the wine presents a clear, deep cherry red color, with charming mahogany and redwood shimmering around the edges.

Aroma-wise, it presents an extremely rich and layered captivating fragrance: with an elegant violet as the main note, followed by light fruity notes such as jujube and dried plum, and a warm finish interwoven with the woody notes of roast and cocoa.

On the palate, it is refreshing, pleasant, and very appealing. The texture is silky and rounded like cream, with the oaky notes blending exquisitely with the liquid, culminating in a light and delicate exotic finish. Very elegant. This is a classic wine best enjoyed while strolling and relaxing, or as a companion in facing life's challenges.

 We recommend pairing it with classic Spanish Serrano ham, stew, or a warm vegetable soup.
