Thanks to the invitation of the German Association AA HKUSU, I was able to offer my tiny research on German wine to their students and teachers. On this evening we focused on two wine regions: Mosel-Saar-Ruwer and Pfalz. Two whites, Riesling and Kerner, and one Spätburgunder were tasted until the last drop of wine.
The guests were very interest in some of the exhibits I displayed:
-
Maps of wine regions in Germany
-
Samples of slate collected from vineyards in Mosel
-
A comparison of wine corks used recently and in the past
We also played name the wine variety, with souvenirs as prizes.
It is good to share some of my German experiences with these young students, but sorry for making some of the teachers homesick with the video of beautiful Mosel.
